Tenzin Classic is an international platform for athletes to present the best in them. It is a culmination of various competitions under a single grand title. Different categories across multiple sports allow participants to battle each other and finally emerge victorious- The Champion of Champions.
Our vision is to provide an international stage and open a world of opportunities for athletes in and around North-East India. The winners in each category are guaranteed complete guidance and may also be granted sponsorships following the event, including the eye-watering Cash Prizes!
Day 1
4th NOVEMBER
Tenzin Classic takes place in the sweetest time of year- right after Monsoon just before Winter- clear skies, warm sun, the roads and trails carry the rejuvenating scent of morning dew and pure oxygen fills the air- and where in between pine trees and distant valleys lies the majestic Kanchenjunga Range, ever so regal- challenging the bravest to conquer her summit.
Tenzin Classic 12k Run
We kick off two days of energizing activities with the 12k Run held at Chowrasta. The course has been expertly crafted by seasoned runners, and you can find the Tenzin Classic team stationed every kilometer along the route, providing nourishment and beverages to runners, guaranteeing their enjoyment and triumph throughout the marathon.
Tenzin Classic 3K Fun Run
Our festival is designed to engage anyone and everyone interested even remotely in sports with fun activities.
The Fun Run is a 5K run (5 Kilometres!!). Route begins at Chowrasta after the 12k Run is flagged off, goes downhill from Bhanu Bhawan, then final turn at Keventers- back to Chowrasta!
A short and Fun Run! We encourage school children, parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts, bring your dogs, cat, pets and just have a great time and a Fun Run!!!
Runners are awarded on 3 categories!!
Best Cosplay (Anime characters, MCU, DC Universe, ANYTHING!!!)

Open Arm-Wrestling Competition
Have the electric vibes of athleticism filled you with a sense of invulnerability? Discover the truth at our Open Arm Wrestling Competition positioned in the centre of Chowrasta. Register on-the-spot and smash your rival to claim the title-
"Strongest Hand of North-East India 2023".
Given the substantial participation in both these competitions(Powerlifting and Arm-Wrestling), attempting to conclude an event of this magnitude within a single day would be unfeasible. As a result, Powerlifting and Arm-Wrestling will extend into the second day, with the results unveiled during the closing ceremony.

Male (in kg): Upto 55 | 55-60 | 61-65 | 66-70 | 71-75 | 76-80 | 81-85 | 86 above
